Today is the Day

Greg is coming home from the hospital today, after being in the hospital for 7 weeks. Katie, his daughter and Sophia his granddaughter, who live in Houston, are coming to visit this weekend. The timing is perfect, plus it is a beautiful day here in Maryland. Pictures to follow of the family reunion.

Sarah's last softball tournament was last weekend. Here are some photos:

She had an awesome catch the prior weekend, unfortunately no one got it on film. She was playing 2nd base, she jumped at least a foot in the air and even used 2 hands to catch the ball. Everyone was quite impressed, but Jim and I were like, that is our girl. She has come a long way this summer, her pitching is amazing, she has 4 pitches now, fastball, drop ball (still perfecting), change up ( best I have seen), and curve ball (just learned at her lesson last night). Jim was trying to show me the wrist snap for the curve ball, he had it all wrong, Sarah had to correct him like 3 times. We decided Miss Stacy (Sarah's pitching coach), would tell Jim he would need to find a new coach if he was the student.

Have a great weekend.
